won't stop scanning, won't export images

Post by paulduane »

Everything was running fine until a few hours ago...
AS is perpetually "scanning". The little status bar underneath the file tree in the file syste view won't stop spinning. The real problem is that I can't batch export any files. When I try, the status bar for the batch export appears under the "scanning" status bar, saying "job name - 0 of 34". And it doesn't move. I've tried rebooting. I've intalled all of the updates. I've uninstalled AS and reinstalled it. Nothing helps. AS has somehow rendered itself useless. Help!

had this problem too (not always - don't know what was different maybe noise ninja ?- extreme slow with batch output, or freezes with no progess) with the latest beta version.
I switched back to the stable version - everything works fine again - I see no advantage in using the new beta. For me the stable version is ok.

Have you tried afx's suggestion?

You may also want to try restart the computer to see if the problem was caused system resources.
