Looking for a few effects for video using Core VideoStudio X5- any suggestions please
1) How do you make the effect where someone's doing a dance move and you rewind - fast-forward and rewind.
Like if they're doing an Elvis hip shake, I want to get the effect they are looped doing it a few times before following through.
2) How do I fast forward n imported video into a timeline where I can speed up the pace in the video and their actions but the music plays in regular time.
3) And finally, how would you do like a time delayed clip where it seems like their's lapse in time as the movie plays. Like almost Burst snapshots in sequence but slower.
4) In Michael Jackson's Billie Jean three columns of him show him with one column at a time each with him dancing sliding from top and the next two do the same sequentially?
I'd appreciate any of you Experts advice.
Thank you in advance.

It does sound a little bit as though you are trying to run before you can walk - all of what you ask can be done - but will take a bit of time and experience with VideoStudio
Item one - you will need to put the original clip in the timeline a number of times - then click on each one in turn and open the 'options' panel where you will find the choices to change speed and reverse the video.
Item 2 - again basic stuff - click on the video - use the 'split audio' option to separate video and sound then open the options panels and select the "speed/timelapse" option - do remember though that speeding a video up will reduce it's playing time - and your video will end before the music.
Item 3 - again split your video up into sections and apply different speeds to each section.
Item 4 - open up three overlay tracks - put your videos in them and arrange the images in the preview screen to be next to each other - you may have to apply some image cropping to select just the bit you want to keep aspect ratios correct as you have to fit three images into three vertical columns. There is a tutorial here :- http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=8894 of using two videos side by side you will need to expand the process to add the third.
Not exactly what you asked for but have you seen this interesting variation on youtube :-
