Script for saving all open images

Script for saving all open images
Is there a script for saving all open images?
This would be very helpful after running Joe Fromm's Layers-Delaminate script.
I am using PSP x3.
Thanks,
Carol

Re: Script for saving all open images
Well, I'm sure someone has made a script like that before but I don't know of any such script for download.
My big question is, what do you want it to do? I know, save all open images. But do you want to save copies of all open images to prevent overwriting the original images? Or do you want it to just run the normal save command?
Do you want it to close each image after it's been saved or do you want each image to remain open?
If you want it to close all images you can actually avoid the need for a script by going to the "Window" menu on the menu bar and selecting "Close All" it'll ask you if you want to save the changes to all of the open images. Just say yes and you're done.
If you want to simply save each open image that's easy enough to write a script for. It then comes down to if you want to just Save or if you want to Save using a special naming pattern using Save As or Save Copy As.

You might want to have a look at this script (not free):
http://creationcassel.com/store/index.p ... cts_id=137
It will separate all the layers but will save them all where you want them. Maybe that is what you need?

Re: Script for saving all open images
After I delaminate a psp image I want to save and close each image as a png into the same folder
as the original psp image. As they delaminate they are named image1, image2, etc. which is fine
so renaming isn't necessary.

You may also want to record your own scripts. Just visit http://pnoy.me/pspscripts to know how to record and save your own scripts.

Re: Script for saving all open images
Recording your own script when you need to save images with different file names and path requires some basic programming knowledge in coding the script in Python. This is how to make the script intelligent.

Re: Script for saving all open images
The images are already named, just need to convert to png and save and close to same folder.

If the images are already named, it means they are already saved as you can only name them while saving them otherwise they will be displaying "Image1", "image2", etc. And if the images are already saved, i am not sure where the process is left.

Re: Script for saving all open images
Cassel, Carolrob says that them being named "Image1" "Image2", etc. is okay. So CarolRob is considering that to be already named. So we just have to use SaveAs and grab the image title and make sure it's a PNG.

The given advice was:
Fatal error

"You may also want to record your own scripts. Just visit http://pnoy.me/pspscripts to know how to record and save your own scripts."
If Ii try to go there, because I really need info on how to record and save my own scripts, I get the following messge:Fatal error

Re: Script for saving all open images
Well, recording scripts, the help files do a decent enough job of explaining how that's done.
It's under the "Automating Tasks" category in the help files.
You make sure the script toolbar is visible, (View -> Toolbars -> Script) hit the big red record button then start working.
While recording it'll record everything you do, selecting layers, the commands you use, the tools you use, so on and so forth.
Once you're done there will be a Save Recording icon (diskette with a red circle on it). Click that icon it'll ask for the name of the script. Hit save and you now have a new script.
To run a script, select it from the drop-down list on the toolbar. Then hit the blue Play button.
