Hi,
After other people's help, thank you everybody, I have it almost working. I have Preferences > Renaming, The format name is "syv." It's the last format name in the list. I have tried different name and that didn't help. I'd like it to become the default.
The problem is when I press the F2, ASP shows the default of "custom". I'd like "syv" to become the default, since all the files need to be renamed.
Is it possible?
Thanks
Renaming Defaults

Re: Renaming Defaults
Sorry, but that question sounds strange.
Just select all files and then rename.

Sorry, but it looks that I didn't explain well my problem (English is not my first nor my second language).afx wrote:Sorry, but that question sounds strange.

When I select multiple photos, F2, the pop-up window say: "Rename Versions", the format is "custom", then I have to scrolldown to the bottom to select my format. Instead of "custom" I want my own format to be the default.
That's because I rename a bunch of images, then do another bunch of images with a different rename... depending, it could be 10, 20, 30 times per card.
Thanks

Re: Renaming Defaults
Last format used, is just one step down...
Don't think you can change the top two entries in the list.
The rest should be changeable by reordering rename.txt in your Aftershot user folder.

Thank you but changing the order of the rename.txt didn't work.afx wrote:Last format used, is just one step down...

Looks like this was moved into the local tree.
And it is alphabetic...
