Hi,
When I import DVD to MV4 (trial) i got error msg 0x80040836(2102). I tried both from DVD -r and DVD -RAM discs, both discs originate from Hitachi DZ-MV 380 DVD camera. In readme files they mention Ulead UDF driver, is this causing the problem?

I just posted this in another thread about trial version and ram disks. I record onto dvd-ram using panasonic recorders and
had the same problem with the full version of MF4 until they
fixed it in an update.
Even when you get the trial version working importing DVD-RAM
may be a slight problem. It depends on if you have a ram writer
or a dvd that can only read ram disks. I think if you have a dvd-ram
writer it will import the disk but a reader will give you an error.
To get around the error copy the contents to the harddisk and
import the dvd from the harddisk or share the dvd drive and
map back to it using MS networking. Then import from the new
shared drive letter.
This error was fixed in the updates to MovieFactory-4 but you can't
install the updates to a trial version.
