fixed. i uninstalled CCCP codec pack and installed lastest updated one (2011).

We usually advise against installing codec packs. They are usually thrown together with a view to quantity rather than quality. Some codecs in the pack often conflict with other codecs. That being said, some users report that the K-Lite pack causes no problems.
My own, personal view is that codec packs can be useful, but only to install a particular codec or codecs you are after. Most packs, in their installation routine, allow you to pick and choose, though by default all the codecs would otherwise be installed.
