Loading workspaces from X4 to X5. Is it possible?

Post by cadudesun »

Hi,

I tried to copy and paste my workspaces presets from X4 to X5 "workspaces" folder. But X5 isn't recognizing the X4 workspaces in this way. Would be possible to load workspaces from X4 to X5 version?

Thanks in advance,
Cadu

Do you mean it isn't popping up in that little list? If so, as far as I know PSP does not auto-detect files. You have to browse to the workspace you want to load. Once it knows it's there it should pop up in that recent workspaces list.

However, Corel did make changes to workspaces in PSPX5 so I can't guarantee that all of the changes you made in X4 will properly transfer over. Many have had difficulties in that regard.

In my experience, it is not possible.

No it's not possible, since PSP X4 has different sets of parameters than PSP X5.
