Import emailed video into VSX5

was emailed to me via a cruise line, I think it is an adobe flash file.How can I import the video and or audio into VSX5 and edit it.

save to hard drive
convert file to wmv using your prefered conversion programme or try "Super" or "Freemake"
Import.

Cant find a way to get it on the hard drive.The file tab does not show the option to" save as" with the file ready to play

I don't think you can Kenneth - what you posted is just a link to the video which is actually embedded in another website - I have tried a number of video downloaders and none of them seem to be able to grab it - one of them downloaded the player but not the video.

You need to find a way to download the video to your computer first - lets hope some of our clever members has a downloader which works on that video.

Did you try the Screen Capture option from X5, it only records at 15 fps but should capture ok.

The download program that I use (Internet Download Manager) allows me to download almost every video file that I can link to. When I clicked on Ken's link, as soon as it started playing, the download program popped up a message asking me if I want to download the video. I accepted and downloaded without any problem. I informed Ken and uploaded it to UpForDown and send him the link.
I have been downloading many tutorials (on all the VS suites and related products) from youTube that way.
