Does Aftershot Pro have boolean image searches? If so, what metadata can be involved in the search, e.g., keywords, dates, EXIF, etc. For example, can I say "Find all images taken between 1/1/2012 and 2/28/2012 that have the keywords "John" and "Betty"?
Thanks.

Re: Boolean searches?
You can do complex searches using the Metadata browser. Use the Refine button to search within the existing result set, and the "Link to Catalogs" checkbox to restrict the metadata search to the catalogs which are open at the time of the search.
The criteria immediately available are:
Color label
Photo Info(bit depth, camera make, date & time - which will allow you to select months or days or even minutes - and other EXIF information
Your keywords
Your star ratings of the shots
Your flag markings for the photos
The fact that you could have multiple catalogs open, and restrict the search within those catalogs, is the only way I can see of getting an OR into the select statement. If you had a catalog of Betty images, and another of John images, then selecting all the green rated shots in say October 2012 between the two catalogs would do the trick. Once you are looking in a single catalog, I can't see a mechanism for selecting two values of the same metadata item.

Re: Boolean searches?
OR is easy, just select two values without a refine.
NOT is the big problem...
cheers
