Lower Thirds

Post by bryanbloom »

Hi does anyone know how to make lower thirds? I need to use or import graphics into the program somehow.... is there a tutorial or guide for this, any files available? Also I can't find any manual for this program except the 16 page intro... Does anyone know where a manual may be?

Thanks!

Hello and Welcome

Could you please explain exactly what YOU mean by lower thirds.

Do you mean just moving the text block to the bottom of the screen or do you have something more complicated in mind

Thanks I know there is a plug in with Boris for Corel Video Studio Pro, which I have but I want to use Corel Motion Studio 3D to do the same thing... the issue is I want to be able to use the project in any video editor.... I don't think you can do that with the plug in....

Also here is the link to the lower thirds I am trying to use or emulate... I actually purchased the files which are for Adobe After Effects, is there a way to use them in Corel Motion Studio, or to create something similar? Any help is appreciated. http://videohive.net/item/corporate-low ... ds/2948695

Things are getting a bit complicated now Bryan - Corel Motion Studio is a 3D modelling programme - if you do want to use that then shouldn't this topic be in the Motion Studio Forum ? - not quite sure why you would want to use that though when you could achieve a video direct from VideoStudio.

I just knocked this up in a couple of minutes in VideoStudio - more time would make more text and effects.

What do you mean you want to use the project in any video editor? Obviously a VS project will only work with VS just like a Adobe AE projects will only work with Adobe AE. Of course you may be able to export a VS project to a video file and use that in other video editors? Is that what you meant?

Hi; it's maybe too bad you don't have the old Ulead Photo Impact.. It does, as you probably know, lower thirds.. Completely editable..Some people with Video Studio use this.Warren
