I have vs5 and want to share a vs project with a friend who also has vs5
I sent him the project file and all the video and audio but it wont open
any tips or links to tutorials

When you say "won't open" - could you be a little more specific.
You send your friend the .vsp file and the video and audio etc. - he installs them into a folder on his hard drive.
Then he opens up VideoStudio and Selects "File >> Open Project" - browses to the .vsp file - selects it and clicks 'open'
What happens then - any error messages ? crashes ? VS stops responding ? etc.

Further to Brian's comments, how did you send those files -- did you for instance using the SmartPackage feature of VS?
