Two recent presentations by me

A local organization asked me to do a series of talks on renewable energy and green (hybrid and electric) cars. I recorded both using two cameras, and used a lavalier mic and audio recorder to get good sound. Using VideoStudio x4, I synced everything together. All the audio in these two presentations was recorded onto a separate audio recorder... none of it was recorded directly on the camera. Anyway, the editing process was pretty straightforward, but I thought you folks might be interested in the topics. The two presentation videos are about 20 minutes long each (the actual talks were each longer than 70 minutes). Here are the videos:

Yeah, the lighting for the presentation leaves a lot to be desired, but the synced audio works perfectly. Let me know if you have any questions about the editing.

I believe you did a very good job! I watched all three videos you created. I liked the variation you incorported into the second video green cars when you used a second camera for close-ups of the speaker. Having the camera(s) on tripods kept the video perfectly still in the first video, but the variations in the second video helped to bring additional interest in watching the video. The visual clarity and quality of the final video National Plug-in Day 2012 was excellent! The natural sunlight really helped. Weather-wise, that was a beautiful day, and there were many colorful vehicals!

I would have liked to have seen what the slides looked like in the "Renewable energy and conservation" presentation, while the speaker was pointing to and talking about them. To me, it was less important to see him than being able to read the info he was referring to. I don't know how you could have done that with videotaping.

Overall, I learned a lot about the variety of 'green' technologies discussed. Each video you created served its purpose very well, indeed! The sound was clear and very easy to understand everything the presenter was saying, as well as the other people being interviewed. Good job!

That was you speaking? Wow! I didn't think it was you because I thought you were behing the camera, sound equipment, etc. heh heh. Thanks for clarify. I must not have read that earlier.

By the way, I didn't mention it in my original reply, but I should have. You are an EXCELLENT speaker. I liked the fact that you spoke quicky and clearly. Had you been a slow-speaking presenter, your video would have taken much more time. You presented lots of information, and you knew your subjects well.
