When I Save a workspace, I untick Include Open Images.
I have always done this.
When I save a workspace in X5, the 'Include Open Images' is always ticked.
I un-tick it and save the workspace.
X5 then asks me if I want to save changes to the open images in the workspace.
Why?
I click on No, repeated for all the images that are open at this time (very annoying)
I then click on Save a Workspace again and yes, the Include Open Images is ticked again.
In previous versions of PSP this remained unticked until the user ticked it again.
Does this just happen in my version or does everyone see this?
Could anyone verify please.
Thanks.
Joëlle

Re: X5 - Save a workspace oddity
That is weird. You may need to reset your workspace. (I really hate that that has become my default go-to troubleshooting step)
My "Include Open Images" checkbox remains unchecked and I am not asked to save changes to my images.

Thanks Levi, this has been happening for quite a few times.LeviFiction wrote:That is weird. You may need to reset your workspace. (I really hate that that has become my default go-to troubleshooting step)

I recently reset X5 and it still does it
I can live with it, just have to make sure I don't have a lot of images open in the workspace. But it is odd.
When I saw this before, I didn't pay too much attention, after all, how many times does one save a workspace, hmm, I should have paid more attention.
When I feel brave I will reset it again!

Re: X5 - Save a workspace oddity
It's not happening for me.
I saved my Workspace with the "Include Open Images" checkbox unticked.
I opened a new image, edited it and then saved my Workspace again.
The checkbox remained unticked...

Re: X5 - Save a workspace oddity
Interesting. This function seems to be presenting different options to different people. I just tried this and when I clicked on save the "include open images" box was ticked. I un-ticked it and did not receive a message about saving open images (and I did have an image open).
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

You sure are right that different things happen to different systems. Very odd.Kathy_9 wrote:Interesting. This function seems to be presenting different options to different people. It's still happening.
I was answering a post in the newsgroup and checked on saving the workspace etc.
Yup, the tick was back where I had removed it.
Grr.
