Post by claus_uetersen »

That's my second try for the wide-angle-side:
I took the cali from hugin.
It looks very like the jpg!
Any further suggestions?
Claus

I've been looking at the following settings for the 10.4 and the 37.1 ends of the spectrum. Haven't messed with the 12.3 - 33.9 yet.

cal_abc: 10.4 0.025000 -0.052000 -0.002788
cal_abc: 37.1 0.002260 -0.015000 0.003800

Not perfect but the results are fairly close to the jpeg output of the camera. Tweaked results as found at http://pastebin.com/4LL22xtG

Hopefully Corel will add lens calibration for this camera soon.

That doesn't function for me at all. But I took those data from pastebin too and created the following:

begin lens
group: sonyRX100
multiplier: 2.70
menu_lens: standard
cal_abc: 10.4 0.00836 -0.05316 -0.02788
cal_abc: 12.8 0.00891 -0.06095 0.02196
cal_abc: 14.9 -0.00571 0.00909 -0.06449
cal_abc: 16.6 -0.00428 -0.01113 0.0042
cal_abc: 19.1 0.00523 -0.03743 0.03369
cal_abc: 20.4 -0.00312 -0.00368 -0.0036
cal_abc: 23.3 -0.00222 -0.00843 0.01379
cal_abc: 25 -0.00565 0.0037 0.00318
cal_abc: 26.9 -0.00245 -0.00859 0.01924
cal_abc: 28.8 -0.00842 0.0158 -0.01114
cal_abc: 33.2 -0.01065 0.02132 -0.01154
cal_abc: 37.1 0.00226 -0.02401 0.0397
end
That looks very good

Heh. I did the same after I figured out I was inverting the "c" and "a" parameters.

Not sure why the manual tab in lens correction lists the parameters as "c b a" and the "profile_sony.txt" file lists them as "a b c" but at least this ol' chap finally figured it out.

I'm just glad someone took the time to figure out and post the parameters.
