Sorry i edited a previous post last night and stated I was using X5. It may not have updated yet.
It will take a little getting used to but looks like its got some great features as well.

Levi, if you've made some vids on the use of the various tools etc, it will be really helpful for all of us Noobs. :lol:
I know I will be looking forward to watching them.

The auto promote Background to Raster was present in X2 but not in my PSP8 where erasing a background layer showed the background colour.
In X2 + if you use the straighten image tool with crop image unchecked you will see the background colour but that is as far as I have gotten.
