Reducing Resolution

yes I am looking for help program that I use call Sketchup. In SketchUp you draw model of a building to post it in google Earth but it can't be any larger 10 MB what makes the file size grow is the pictures that you applied to your model, There help board says ( Downsample all texture files that have been used to paint the surfaces. Take each texture into a photo editor and reduce the resolution) this will supposedly minimize the file size? Is this possible when I transfer my photos from SketchUp back into Corel , how do I reduce the resolution so it would reduce my file size? Does any of this make sense. thanks for any help John

You can accomplish the resolution reduction by using image/resize. Also, saving at a lower jpeg quality setting will reduce the file size if that's what you're really after. If you just want a resolution reduction then image/resize is what you want. You pick the desired resolution in x/y coordinates and that's about it (ignore the print size part, just select the pixel dimensions or percent scaling setting)

You can either resize the image or reduce the compression of the image.
