Library cleanup

I deleted several old folders containing material from finished projects. Now I open VS, and there are all the thumbnails from a zillion deleted video clips.

How can I get rid of all these thumbnails? VS seems me to want to confirm deletion of each one separately, which will take me a week. I can't do the old trick of Ctrl-A to select all and then delete.

How do I get rid of all these old thumbnails? The clips they refer to have been deleted.

you can use shift click just the same.

select the first clip.
but when it asks to relink hit the cancel option.
you now have the first clip selected in the library.

select the last clip using shift click, hit the delete button
