Audio setting resets every time

Audio setting resets every time
In the [Tools] > [Enhancements] > [Audio] settings window I have it set to 2 Speakers with Dolby Virtual Speaker(DVS) for technology. Whenever I restart WinDVD11 the audio switches back to the Stereo setting, it does not stay on DVS. It still says it is on DVS in the settings, but there is a distinct difference in the audio and it changes back to how it should sound when I re-select DVS. Is there any fix for this? It is kind of annoying having to select DVS every time I start up the program. Thanks.
