Can I repair out of sync video files?

Post by Lyvyoo »

Hello,
I recorded a 37min. mp4 video, with my tablet Asus Infinity, on 720p resolution. The first 10 minutes are ok but the last 20min. are out of sync.
There is any posibility to repair the delay of the sound with Corel Video Studio X5?

Thank you,
BrianCee

Yes if you split the audio from the video you can the manually re-sync the sound track - then render a new video with the sound correct.

Good news!
X4 can do the same or is a function only for X5?

Yes X4 can do exactly the same.

with your video in the top timeline first cut the video at the end of the piece which is in sync then RIGHT click on the bit which is out of sync and from the pop-out choose 'split audio'

the audio will appear in the sound track - now slide the audio left or right to get it back it sync - this can be very tricky if you are only moving a fraction of a second and you might consider putting a colour block or a short still image in the top track at the very beginning and adding or subtracting one frame (1/30 sec NTSC or 1/25 sec PAL) to make the very fine adjustment.

When you have it correct "Share >> Create Video File" will give you options to make a new video.
