I have read several requests from others, as well as the very confusing "answers" to them. Corel's manual shows photos of before/after views in several examples, but there is no info on how to bring them up. Some of the answers here say things like
"Use the window" - don't know where that is
"Simulate a before/after" - Are you kidding?
"Click on filters" - doesn't work
Use Adjust menu - Sorry, don't have one, or can't find it.
WHY does Corel show all those samples but not have a way to do it?
On page 130 of the PaintShop Pro X4 manual, there is a discussion and a picture of a Before/After situation, but nowhere is there any info on how to bring it up.
If I am to continue spending money on Corel products, I need some sensible answers.

As I didn't see the original post, I might have the wrong end of the stick...
But have you ticked the correct boxes?

I assume that as well Joelle. The page mentioned, 130, is showing an example of the Sunburst command.
It even describes the button area for making the preview visible.
If when you click on this area it pops up but no before/after preview is visible then there might be something wrong because there should be no reason for them not to show up.

To complete the dialogue box tutorial, dragging the lower right corner will enlarge or reduce the box and the preview windows.
A way to see before and after after each edit is to copy the image (background layer) to a second layer that you can toggle on and off on the layer pallette. Make all changes to the copy layer. Toggle it off to see/compare the background layer (original image).
