I found a list of keyboard shortcuts at the end of the User's Manual (finding the manual was harder.. Tip: Search for .chm files in the install folder and make a shortcut). Great, so far. But they only seem to work like every other time I start WinDVD. Either all work or none. They can also stop working after a few minutes.
I found this thread that says shortcuts don't work for WinDVD 2010 with Blu-ray, but work with DVD:

Sounds very related. I only tested Blu-ray and it does work sometimes (e g fast forward, "F" for full screen etc). DVD I'm not interested in, Windows Media Player does that very good (and VLC for foreign DVDs).
In PowerDVD you have the option to choose whether keyboard shortcuts or BD-J keys shall work. I wouldn't be surprised if this is BD-J related but there is nowhere to make a choice.
Does anyone else have the same experience, and perhaps a cure? I don't know if The Matrix and Wall-E have BD-J but they are two of the discs that seldom work.
I use it to control WinDVD with a remote so it has to work. And the fact that it sometimes works makes me not want to give up so easily. The BD I used does not have BD-J.
PS Other than that, WinDVD works very well for AMD E-350, so that's my reason for being interested in it. (Except for being slow.)
