writeing metadata to master files

Is it possible to write metadata to master files or does anyone tools or plugins to do that?

Well, the mantra has always been never to mess up the originals.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I know what you mean, but sometimes I want to write essential metadata to RAW files such as copyright information.
