Configuring Video Storage in Pro X5
How do you configure where video footage--captured from camcorder, etc.--gets stored in Video Studio Pro X5?

Re: Configuring Video Storage in Pro X5
If you click Settings > Preferences, then on the General (first) tab, up towards the top is a window where you can specify where the "Working Folder" is located. By default under Windows 7 it specifies the Video Library which of course will be on the C: drive. So just change that to where you want to store things.
Just be aware, though, that if you specify an external drive, then you will need to have that drive connected and set to the same drive letter as it was when you stored the video used in a project. Otherwise, you will get re-link messages if VS cannot find those videos at precisely the same location as stored in its project data .vsp file.
