My materials palette has virtually disappeared! It's all black . .. no colors, no gradients, no patterns ... just black.
What happened and how do I fix it?

Re: PSP X4 - problem with materials palette
Did you make any changes to your Color Management settings?
I know that if you set it to "Proofing" instead of "Basic" and then give it values that it can't calculate properly the materials will appear black but will still render the image properly.
Otherwise you can try resetting your workspace to factory defaults by holding "SHIFT" while opening the program. It'll ask if you want to reset the workspace and you can say yes or no from there.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!
Holding "SHIFT" while opening the program did the trick! All my colors, etc are back like they should be!
