Opening Photo Files
Hi, I am new to Paintshop and I can not figure out how to maintain the original file size of my photos when I open them in Paintshop For example, the original file might be 3.78 MB but once it opens in Paintshop it is only 706 KB. Can someone help me here please. Do I need to change settings somewhere??
Thanks guys!!

Re: Opening Photo Files
Well you won't be able to maintain the size with a JPG as it's a lossy format, which means that each time you save it it saves it slightly differently, but you can get close.
First go to Save As instead of Save. In the Save As dialog you'll see a button at the bottom that says "Options" in the next dialog lower the compression level. Higher compression levels remove more of the image quality to help shrink down the overall image.
