MovieFactory 7 trims all mp4 imports to 0:55 seconds?

Hi there, I'm trying to see if MF7 can do what I need but I'm not having much luck. Let me just say the Corel helpdesk is absolutely usless... anyhow...

I'm importing 3 x 1920x1080 HD mp4 files into moviefactory 7. Seems simple enough but for some reason the program trims each 90 second video down to 55 to 58 seconds.

I can't figure out why. Does anybody have the answer?

I would try a different format but I need to stay on MP4 for the HD resolution (mpeg, wmv, avi all either squish or stretch the image).
