I don't want to see the folder either. There's no way to delete or hide it in the program. I have VS4.

Can we assume you just want to see the videos included in any particular one of your projects? If so, there are at least a couple of ways of doing this.

First, and FWIW, I personally start a number of sub-folders in the library by clicking on the "+ Add" button above 'Samples". I name these Video, Images, Audio. Then I move the various samples into the respective folders. This leaves the main library window empty (though still nominally called 'Samples). You can also start individual folders for each project e.g. one for your kids, one for the most recent trip etc.

Or you can simply delete all the thumbnails by selecting them all. That merely removes them from the window. They remain on your computer for later use as needed.

Thank you for your swift reply. I just don't want to see anything but my own project. That folder, and the fact that it's the default irks me. But at least it's better than the crash machine than Pinnacle was.

Hi

Delete all clips in the Sample library.
Then Settings-Library Manager--Export Library
I save the exported files to a folder on my desktop, call it Blank Library.

If you ever wish to start again with a Blank library, simply Import Blank Library.
You can always use this option to Export any library configuration, maybe dedicated to a project.
