Creative collection

Post by Norfolkman6 »

Sorry if this sounds a bit simple but how do I access the Creative Collection, which I downloaded and installed with PSP X5 Ultimate?

I upgraded from PaintShop Photo Pro X3. I can't find anything in help files.

Many thanks in advance

The additional brushes can be accessed through PSP X5 by clicking on your paint brush and then clicking on the Category icon to the right of Presets on the toolbar (category name = Ultimate X5); the textures via Effects -> Texture Effects -> Textures and the backgrounds downloaded on my PC to C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Corel PaintShop Pro Creative Content.

Hope this helps.

That is so strange. If you go into File -> Preferences -> File Locations -> Brushes do you have an entry for - C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X5\Corel_01? This is where the default brushes for X5 are stored and also where Creative Collection puts the X5 Ultimate brushes.

Did you download brushes from "Do More" in the Corel Guide? I don't know if it matters but if you didn't maybe (just a guess on my part) that's why your categories are greyed out.

Here's a screen shot just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.

Well I have a SSD C:\ drive and a HDD D:\ data drive. I some how had PSPX5 only looking in the data drive which was empty. Changed to your listed location and all is well thank you.
