Saving as EPS turns colors to black white and grey?? help

I am not very good at this program but I am trying to save a red and white and black logo to an eps file to use with a vinyl cutter but when it saves it changes it to a greyscale picture and the red color is removed. I tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't work. I need that red and I am not sure how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Kate

When go to FILE > SAVE AS... > then you select EPS Encapsulated PostScripts (*.eps) > then click on the OPTION button make sure that the COLOR option under COLOR and not the MONOCHROME.

After reading numerous reviews on amazon and many other sites I've decided I want to buy either a Silhouette Cameo or Curio vinyl cutting machine.
I already have a Paint Shop Pro license.
What would be the best way to create vinyl designs? Should I use Paint Shop Pro or is there any other better option?

I haven't heard anything about EPS in years, decades. Do vinyl designers and cutters require EPS files?
