Need to create 4:3 video into 16:9 anamorphic - How please?

Hi,

I have a 4:3 PAL project and I have been told to create..

a video that is 720 x 576 16:9 anamorphic or 4:3 anamorphic if using Premier pro

I have created a normal 4:3 avi however in a 16:9 player it is stretched. It needs to have blanks on the sides s0 it is still in shape.

How do I do this please?

Why have you posted a question about Premier Pro in the Corel Forums ??

It is not a Corel product - do you want to do it using VideoStudio instead ?

Which player are you referring to, i assume as its an Avi that you mean a Media Player on your PC not a DVD player connected to the TV.

Either way the player is defaulting to a widescreen playback, you should be able to change the playback options to play in 4:3 or keep aspect ratio. Maybe an option to play using original video.
But I assume its the players problem not the video file.

Otherwise give details of the AVI's properties, right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, what are they?
