As a matter of fact, if you're running PSPX5, you've already got that -- as a script. Run this script:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X5\Languages\EN\Scripts-Restricted\VectorMergeSelected.PspScript"
and see! It merges the selected shapes, so it's not a "Merge Visible", but should be workable for you. :D

I'd like to see 'scripts' become proper routines behind 'menus'

Hello

Since PHOTOIMPACT has been discontinued - another perfect software which it should not be discontinued - PAINT SHOP PRO must can export to .UFO
Unfortunately unti now does not export to .ufo
This is very significant in order to handle DVD MENUS for CVS.
So,
WE NEED IN CPSPX6 the DVD/BLURAY MENU MAKER with .UFO support.

We have been raising this same issue with Corel for several versions now -- or at least since they announced they were dumping PhotoImpact as one of their products. So far, the only development has been the ability to include the ability of PSP to open UFO files. But it still can't produce them, which is just plain silly, I agree. They already own the code; they continue to use the format in VS menus; so why can't they include the code in PSP?

The rotation tool. I use it all the time to straighten my photos just that last little bit they need to look good. But the one-degree increments are too coarse.

Wish: 0.1-degree increments on the rotation tool. Either as standing setting or as a selection between degrees and tenths of a degree.

Wish: better margins when the picture is zoomed in.

When I want to make a selection that includes the edge of an image I must zoom out to make sure I get it.

When I zoom in and see the image close up, I have no margin in which to anchor my selection. I would like to have some visible margin outside the image in which to anchor my selection.

I would like to be able to grab the edge of a selection and move it. Essentially I am asking for the selection to behave like a crop rectangle.

I can convert a selection to a crop. It would be nice to convert a crop rectangle to a selection. Or just make the selection behave like a crop rectangle.

Need to display the aspect ratio of Selections and Crop rectangles.
Need to be able to snap selections and crop rectangles to desired aspect ratios so I can select/crop hassle-free.

I have 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 aspect ratios. When I am selecting or cropping an image I need to go to those AR's. Right now I must use work-arounds.

Just use Selection...Edit Selection and activate the Pick Tool (K). You'll have the full panopoly of transformation options to use on the selection.

???
The Straighten Tool allows specifying rotation to hundredths of a degree:

The options for the Pick Tool allows specifying angles to the thousandth of a degree.

Simply start drawing your selection within the image and drag the cursor outside the image before releasing the mouse button.

Inches? Centimeter options are also available, but not pure ratios.

Edit: OK. I can resize and keep the ratios. Not quite the same as yours, though.

This is true. But single clicks on the increment buttons move the angle by 1.0 degrees. I would like to be able to move the angle 0.1 degrees per click. Having that option would save lots of time.
