DVD MF4 upsets Videostudio 8

I use Videostudio 8 successfully, but when I install Moviefactory 4, I am unable to import MP3 music files (they worked previously) all I can hear is a high pitch twittering.

I use
2600 AMD
Nvidia graphics
Abit Motherboard
onboard sound
512 meg memory

try downloading the latest patches for VS8 or use the repair installation function.

I had already done that
I have now wiped the harddrive and started again and the problem is now solved
I always assumed it was a corrupt file but I did not know which one

most probably this was caused by a certain codec installed in your system. good to hear that everything is now ok.
