Hi guys, I've been a PSP user since PSP 7.
I've got a question about x4. When I do multiple screen captures and then I click on the minimized x4 icon, it doesn't just open back to the workspace like it used to in psp 7. It always opens this pop up of all the captured files I took and I have to select one in order to re-open the minimized x4. It's so irritating because I go back n forth a lot taking screep caps but it always has to force me to choose a file.
Anyone know if there is a setting to skip it and just re-open x4 to workspace when I click on the minimized icon after taking multiple screencaps?
Thanks

If you move the cursor above the button it will pop up thumbnails of the images in PSP. Just click on the button and it opens PSP. Windows 7, PSP X4 here too. One click on the button, no need to chose a thumbnail.

That's what I thought but when I click on the psp button, it doesn't open psp back up. I'm FORCED to choose a thumbnail in order for me to open psp back up.
I clicked on the button and nothing happens. It just keeps showing me the thumbnails of all the images that are open in psp and I have to then select one.

Re: PSP x4 - Screen Capture irritation
This is a feature of Windows 7 Taskbar. Since PSP takes advantage of the feature of the Windows 7 taskbar for showing multiple windows that is the cause of this problem.
If you revert the taskbar to how older versions of Windows showed their programs it'll work like you expect. Right-click on the taskbar and select properties, then on the drop-down labeled "Taskbar buttons" change the option to "Combine only when Taskbar is Full" this will bring back the old way Windows showed open programs. You can still hover over the program label and get the view of the currently opened images but if you click on the program icon itself it'll just restore the program like you expect it to.
The other option is to hold the "Shift" key when you click on the icon. The Shift + Click attempts to open a second version of the program. But PSP has not been able to open multiple versions of itself for a few versions now. So it'll simply open the main program instead of opening a second session.

Aha! Thank you.
I had a feeling it had something to do with the windows taskbar...i forgot about that option. It's working now with just a click.

Re: PSP x4 - Screen Capture irritation
Rather OT, but that Win7 feature irritates me at work, where I have to use IE. Often when I click on the IE icon in the taskbar I don't particularly care which tab is on top - if I do I can always click on it when IE is restored. Contrariwise, I do find it useful when I've got several MS Office windows open, which leaves me in a quandary: either revert to the old method or keep the new...
Luckily at home I don't use IE and the two browsers I use most (Chrome and Firefox) don't support that feature.

TOP TIP: Paint your lawn blue. If someone uses Google Earth to check out your home, they'll think you own a swimming pool.
