PSP X4 Customize with Image issue

when I choose View then Customize then lets say open the drop down menu for Image, the right-click say Resize I see the following...

Delete

Button Appearance

Why is IMAGE option greyed out? do I have to place images in special folder and in what size and format?

"Image" simply refers to the icon.

The "Image" option is greyed out for menus because they don't allow you to only show the icon. You can show the icon and the command name "Image & Text" or just the command name "Text" but it does not let you show just an icon. That option is allowed if you add the command to a toolbar however.

Anyway to use default icons for script ones vs the boring ones? The Scripts icons are so ugly! Why they just allow all the icons use for other things like Flip Vertical and Horizontal so I can use for script made for old Flip and Mirror.

Currently not possible.

They have been teasing us with the "Button Appearance" dialog which suggests it may eventually allow user-defined images for the icons. But it's never available with no promises on when or if it'll be finished.

Installed the x5 trial version. x5 basically x4 with a few more features. But the issue is exactly the same making x5 feel to me Corel getting lazy or not seem to realize they have an issue that needs fixing or updated asap. They have the copy button image but no option to use as a button image.
