MPEG 4 codec.Is it included with version 9 upgrade?

When I look up what codecs are installed in me version 9 MPEG 4 is not included although I was told that it was included when I purchased the upgrade at the Sydney seminar.

Any thoughts?

If they told you that, they were mistaken. It remains an optional extra and costs US$29.95 to buy it. Dolby was included in VS9, but not MPEG-4.

It seems a bit of a rip off at £14.99 UK for a plug-in
when you look at the price of the main software.(upgrade)
I have used Ulead software for quite a few years
but things like this make me want to look elsewhere.
At around a fiver I would of bought it without hesitation.
What they forget is that once your piss off and buy something
different the chances of coming back are zero.
Treat your customers with respect.
There are dozens of companies wanting your custom.

I just think it is great they provide such great software for such a low price. Yes it would be good if they could include Mpeg4 as well for nothing, but hey, you know, even with what is provided, the value is sure there.

We need to support them so they can keep deveoping and improving the software.
