WinDVDPro2010 Won't play Home-burned, non-protected BD-RE

Post by BJB »

Greetings,
I hope someone still reads these boards....I purchased WindvdPro2010 primarily to view home-made burned Blu-Ray's and BD-RE discs created in one of the leading video editing software suites.

I get the dreaded "stop, unsupported media" error.

I am on the most recent patch.

Clearly this is not a copy-protection issue as there is none.

The disc plays fine in a blu-ray player.

I see many people even have trouble playing standard Blu-ray discs with this software. I know it works with SD dvd's....why won't it play my non-copy protected blu-ray discs?

I have posted here with no response....I also have a case pending which after several exchanges was escalated and I still do not have an answer as no one has contacted me.
I am concerned about actually getting this issue resolved.
