Images opened in PSPro X--problem
Some of the images I have taken with my Olympus 7010 still camera, when opened up in PSPro X, are not showing correctly.A portion of the image is sectioned and the smaller part of the image has moved along horizontally, the effect being that for instance, a person's head is not on the body but further along the image. Can any one help please. This only happens now and again but is annoying, the last time 2 out of 24 images were like this. They were loaded on to my pc via the camera's card,in a card reader.

Re: Images opened in PSPro X--problem
Sounds like your card might have a fault. Try a different card and see if that still occurs.
It can also happen if the write to the card is interrupted , or the card is not properly read by the reader.
I have usually found that I get some grey sections where it has not been written properly.

The images have the same fault in another image viewer.I will try reading the image direct from the camera and report back.I
suppose the next step will be to use a new card.

Re: Images opened in PSPro X--problem
I have just loaded the image direct from the camera and it is OK.So....I guess this proves that the card reader is at fault?

Re: Images opened in PSPro X--problem
When you say "loaded the image direct from the camera" did you use PSP X to open the image? If you did then the problem with the file that was copied to your hard drivel. You may want saving them to another folder or if you have an external storage try saving them there and open them on that same location and see if the same thing happens. This will isolate where the real problem happens.
Another thing, since you are using an older version of PSP, you may want to try the latest version which is PSP X4. You can download the trial version at http://pnoy.me/coreltrials and see if that works for you.

Re: Images opened in PSPro X--problem
The image was loaded onto the hard drive via a usb cable attached to the camera and then opened ok with PSProX.The image did not show properly when a card reader was used and the image opened in PSProX .I realise that the version I am using is "old" but I have not go the time right now to start learning all over again as I have had to do with Video Studio X5 Pro Ultimate after upgrading from a previous version.
