Dear Sir:
I'm green with Videostudio as i use pinnacle before.
The version I use is X5, I want to make a very good quality photo album with the videostudio, I want to make the blu ray, what do I need to set before I start the project? What resolution should I set and where can I set? someone said the AVCHD is the same as bluray, I don't know!
Best regards,
Chubom

Re: Setup for Bluray project
AVCHD is certainly one of the Blu-Ray formats you can burn directly to Blu-Ray disc. However, it is a format very demanding on computer resources, and we know nothing about your computer since you did not fill in those details when your registered.
However, if you want to burn a Blu-Ray slideshow (which is what I assume you mean by "photo album"), then you don't need to set any properties before you start editing. All you need is some good quality/high resolution photos which you put in the timeline in the order you want. You can insert transitions, and apply filters where necessary. When you are satisfied with the project, then personally I would choose Share > Create Video File > Blu-Ray. That will automatically set the properties/resolution etc of the slideshow to the highest quality. When the new Blu-Ray video is produced, you can play it on a software Blu-Ray player to make sure it is the way you want it. If it is, then you start a new project with nothing in the timeline, and select Share > Create Disc > Blu-Ray. The burning module will open and you manually insert your new Blu-Ray file. Then you choose your menu, set it up the way you want, then burn.
