Hello,
i have installed WinDVD Pro11 on a Windows 7 PC. Installation runs, but when i start WinDVD i get only a message like "error, install a vga driver". I have a vga driver installed, i am using VLC, Magix Pro X4 videoeditor etc. and all Software is playing. If i look at windows configuration for hardware, it says that a standard vga driver is installed.
Why is WinDVD not playing? First i had to reinstall the complete windows installation to remove all traces of the trialversion that had blocked installation of the boxed version of WinDVD and then the trialversion had destroyed my windowsinstallation complete (no sound at all, dmaged directories etc.). And now WinDVD is again not playing... How can i use my payed Software?
after installation "install vga driver"???

Re: after installation "install vga driver"???
If you have the standard VGA driver installed it means you don't have a VGA driver. The standard VGA driver is installed when windows cannot find an appropriate driver for your hardware. You need to find out what Video card you have and find the right driver for it. You can still use most software even with the standard VGA driver but some programs like WINDVD require higher functions that a standard VGA driver cannot provide.

Just to add to what lester mention, according to your forum profile your computer is using an ASUS HD7750 video card, so you should atleast see the driver for ASUS HD7750 listed on your windows configuration. If not then you may want to contact the tech support of your computer manufacturer, so that they can help install the correct driver.
