I would like to create a similar scene as in the Objects>3D Models of the text circling the globe. I would like to know how the text circle was created. I know I can change the text in the provided model but I would like to know how to create the revolved text.

Hi burnandreturn.
Insert some text.
Move the timeline pointer to the beginning.
Make sure the text object is selected.
Go to the Attribute Panel, click the "Add Plugin" icon (next to the "Remove Plugin" icon) at the top of the Attribute Panel, and add the "Path Animation" attribute.
Move the timeline pointer to the end.
Change the "Level" property of the "Path Animation" attribute to a higher number, say 33. That controls the progress of the animation. The higher the number, the further the text progresses around the globe.
Play it back.
Insert some text.
