Old version of VS - Import from DVD greyed out

Ken, I remember you helping me with Ulead issues 5-6 years ago. Glad to see you're still on this forum.

I've done this hundreds of times, but now the "Import from DVD/DVD-VR" is greyed out. It's funny that the DVD I'm trying to import was created by VS about 6 months ago. I did need to wipe the hard drive and reload the software about a month ago. In the "Capture" pull down the "Capture Video" and "DV Quick Scan" are not greyed out but the "Import from DVD/DVD-VR" is greyed out.

This is VideoStudio6 upgraded to VideoStudio 9, so the software is not new. As always, I appreciate the help.

Hi Andy

I just tried using VS9 and you do not need a disc in the drive for the option Insert DVD/DVD to be available.
Once selected a window opens allowing you to choose the source file or disc. (browse for folder)

Have you installed the Service Packs that were available for VS 9

Thanks for the help. I've searched and cannot seem to find any patches or service packs for VS9. Would anyone know where I could find these? Thanks so much for the help.

This is the first time i have tried adding a file to the forum for download, not sure if the forum will allow this?
The zip file contains a PDF for the VS9 updates, you should be able to download the patches from the PDF
