Video clips and soundtrack don't work together. Help!

I added in the VideoStudio one soundtrack and few video clips but the problem is that when I play project I can see only video clips without soundtrack or hear soundtrack without seeing video clips. What should I do to get soundtrack and video clips together played?

Are you playing in Project Playback mode, this will play all tracks

Click the word "Project" adjacent to play button, then play............

Yes I did play in Project mode not in a Clip mode but thing don't work.

Can you give more information regarding the properties of the clips you are using.
Right click a clip in the timeline and select properties, what are they?
Do this for all types of clips you have used.....

If they are AVCHD types these can be quite demanding on the computers resources.

Hi..

They are all MPEG-4. Music is classic Mp3 file. If I play only clip I hear sound of that clip and see picture... also when I play only mp3 song I can hear it. But when I turn on option Project and play project I don't hear and see mp3 and video clip playing together. In that case I can only see videos without any sound.

Lame Mp3 file have caused problems with playback, same as your issue.
I noticed that a data rate greater than 192 caused me problems, not sure how this could be?
However we do recommend you convert the sound files to wav.

Video Studio may be able to do this, do a test
Start a new project
Add one audio clip to the beginning of timeline
Share Create Sound File--choose wav type
a thumbnail will be placed in the library
replace your MP3 clip

Do a forum search for Lame or Lame mp3

The problem remains. I added wav sound in the project but thing still don't work. :/
