Is the Premium edition worth getting ?
Just i see on Amazon, released 5th Sept that a package..Corel Photo & Video Suite X5 (PC)...for only £74..SEEING as im about to purchase both...obviously keen to get for cheapest as poss.
Would anyone know if this is the standard VS or the Prem. one? Assuming the former..in which case...the additional extras in prem. ..what do you think..worth the money ( buying two separate packages for me )..
thoughts welcome.
Good price for VS and Photo package..or is it?

There isn't a 'standard' VideoStudio - it either comes as VideoStudio Pro - or - VideoStudio Pro Ultimate.
As far as we can make out the two programmes are identical - the only difference being that the Ultimate version comes with a number of extra free plug-ins which provide additional effects and titles - depends on how deeply you will get involved with editing - for the majority of users the Pro is quite adequate, but if you intend to do a lot of special effects you may want to go for the Pro Ultimate version.
There is a matrix here which compares the different versions so you can see and choose which you want :-

Hi
I think it is the pro version, if it were the Ultimate it would clearly show the word Ultimate on the box, the guy doing the hand stand would be in blue rather than red.
you say ---obviously keen to get for cheapest as poss-----
Shop around, consider download versions from the Corel US site, assuming you are purchasing from the UK --Add 20% for vat .
Then search the web for discount codes.....maybe get that extra 10%-20% off maybe cover the vat.
Are you eligible for the upgrade owning X2????????
