Purchasing a new ( slave ) harddrive because of the amount of space these pesky HD 1080/50frms etc takes up.
Anyone out there please advise....would a 500size hardrive be sufficiant to save all photos and HD video ( which i would then use to bring into VS X5 )..or better to get a large as possible HD..eg, 1 tribyte? etc

How long is a piece of string? It will all depend on exactly how much you have that you want to store and keep for a long time. But external hard drives are very cheap these days. I just bought an excellent 1.5 TB USB 3 drive for US$135, and I imagine they are even cheaper where you live...
