Decent Graphics Card to run X5 - ???

Post by garjobo »

If i changed my graphics card - would this improve my videostudio x5 HD camcorder performance? Or am i needing a new motherboard, fan etc etc?

Thinking to just insert say 2 more RAMS - so i would have 6. And buy a new Graphics card ( any recommendations?? )

Thanks for any replies. I did post a longer version of this in the past and the one reply i got..although grateful for..didnt really help me. I cant just get a new processor etc etc..money sadly limited.

Specs are:
PACKARD BELL
IXTREME 3720
RATING IT GETS IS: 5.9 OVERALL ( 6.1 i think for various things but processor to disc brings it down to 5.9 )
INTEL CORE QUAD 2 CPU 8300 @250Ghz
RAM INSTALLED 4.00GB
64 BIT OPERATING SYSTEM, WINDOWS 7
GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeFORCE GT240garjobo

Upgrading your PRocessor and GPU will surely improve the performance of VS X5 and other software. For the Graphics card, you may want to check GPU that supports Nvidia CUDA
