Panasonic DMC-GF3 automatic lens detection

Post by jgbc »

I have added the following camera profile to Aftershot, but the camera (Panasonic DMC-GF3) and lens (Lumix G 14mm f/2.5) is still not automatically detected:

Code: Select all

begin camera
group: micro43
multiplier: 2.0
menu_make: Panasonic Micro 4/3
menu_model: DMC-GF3
exif_make: Panasonic
exif_model: DMC-GF3
end
The following line is in profile_panasoniclenstable.txt:

Code: Select all

LUMIX G 14/F2.5|Lumix G 14mm f/2.5
and seems to match the exif data of the raw files. Isn't this what is needed to have the camera and lens automatically detected???

I'm not sure why that doesn't work, but you could also try editing your exif data camera model to GF-2, since they share the same sensor.

Strange that the GX-1 is supported but not the GF-3.
