VideoStudio Pro x3 Won't Play flv
I have been editing video with Pro x3 for a while and have not had this problem unti just recently. My computer died and had to be reinstalled (windows 7 ult). When I import flv files they play but are blank. I have tried a couple of things but none work. Does anyone know what happened? Anyone know how to fix?

This can be a codec issue. Here are some of the codecs that you may want to install.

I think you can try Handbrake (free) to convert your flv files to these format then import into VS Pro x3.

Re: VideoStudio Pro x3 Won't Play flv
Hi
As far as I know you have never been able to play FLV (flash) files within Video Studio.
You can create Flash files, a thumbnail will be added to the library, right click from the library and select Play Streaming Media, which will boot up one of your media players.
Maybe I should check Windows 7 for flash playback?
I generally use XP
Support file format of VideoStudio Pro X4, was the last version to support/create flash.
X5 now uses WebM files.
View the supported formats for Input and Output

Having said all that, there does seem to be a problem with the latest Flash update to Version 11.
I cannot view my flash slide shows on my pc and had to revert to Version 10. and for the time being cannot create a Flash file as VS just locks up?
View my galleries, do you see the slide shows or just a white screen?
