Cannot Render Anything, Video Studio X5

I just don't understand it. I really enjoyed the free trial. When I got fed up with windows live moviemaker I caved and bought the pro copy. I reinstalled video studio X5 and installed the first service pack.

Now I get an error message. "This program has encountered an unspecified error and has ceased functioning."

This is followed by an error dump. I literally cannot render anything. It doesn't matter what I input into the program. I tried reinstalling and resetting to factory defaults. I tried rebooting. I tried multiple source videos.

I feel devastated. The only thing I haven't tried is doing a factory restore on my OS. I am in the process of backing up now. I would rather throw a brick at Corel than pay for their support. It worked before. It has to work again. Does anyone have any ideas?


Edit: Figured it out. Bandicam users beware, you'll need to play with your capture drivers and figure out which ones are compatible with Corel . The only thing left to figure out at the moment is which format will retain contrast on youtubue >_>.
