VideoStudio Pro X5 can't upload or read photos

Post by efszidane »

Hi!

The installed Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 does not work properly, it can't upload or read photos-- .jpeg format. Also from the sample of the editor there are photos when I try to use it and drag it to timeline, it says unreadable. WHY? :( Please help. Thank you. :)

Hi

welcome to the forms

there have been some issues with importing Jpegs, there is a post titled

Re: VSP x5 Crashes when trying to access some photos in libr

It appeared on this occasion that adding captions to the jpeg, i think via the camera caused the problem, The poster did make his images available to download and we were able to confirm the problem.

If you find a similar problem then I would think it best if you could report this to Corel Support.

Is it possible to post the exact error message that you are getting?

There should be no problem in uploading or importing jpegs using VS X5, so you may want to reset the program to it's default settings -- http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... lt-Setting

Hi Abiel

There was a post regarding using Jpeg images.
The poster A Wally made available a Jpeg for download, maybe you can try the sample?

Cause seems to be a Captions tag set within the EXIF data????????????
