editted waveform information gets lost when burning DVD

In video studio pro x4:
At step 3 "share"
I can create a video file like an mpeg, and it will retain all "nudges" I perform on the audio waveform of the music tracks (to keep volume down during a narration moment) .
But when I burn a disk.....the music file plays like it's never been adjusted (full volume) when playing disc.

Sound familiar anyone?

Hi

When you burn the DVD are you using the Mpeg2 file or are you burning the project.

After creating the Mpeg file, start a new project--share create disc--add video file, adding the mpeg file.

I have been trying to burn project.
So if I create the mpeg of project 1st then add it as a single clip to burn on DVD, that should work?
I guess that'll allow me to create menus for disc too?

Bluray any different?

Blu=Ray is the same.

One other thing you could clarify is whether, after making your 'nudges' in the project, did you save the project before opening the burning module? If not, then it could be that VS is transferring the project without any saved 'nudges' into the burning module.

Good point, but -yes. I made sure I had project saved before trying to burn it.

I must have corrupted something with all the "nudging" ....it didn't like something I did, apparently, because it had let me burn a dvd and a bluray of it "from in project" before making some new edits to audio track....then suddenly ....the audio edits wouldn't transfer to disc....but would render to vid files.
